Oakley Bridge

Provided us with unique challenges. 

Total size of bridge completed was 32m long, 3.2m wide, 700mm high.

The bridge was supplied to Metspray in 2 fabricated sections. One at 17m long, and the second at 15m long.  The coating specifications was a Class SA2.5 Abrasive Blast,  Zinc Metal Spray @ 100 microns, Epoxy Seal, Epoxy Build Coat @ 150microns, and Urethane Top Coat @ 50 microns. Throughout this project we compiled full QA documentation and it was independently inspected and verified. After we had completed the coatings, the bridge was then spliced together in our Factory B workshop and at 14 ton and 32m long, was raised up, using our 2 10 ton gantry cranes and then loaded onto a truck to be transported to site and then lifted into place.
