Auckland Airport Sign Gantries

Each gantry section was 18-24m long, 3.5m high, and 2.5m deep, the largest sections weighing more than 5 tonnes. Navigating these large sections through our blast room, into our thermal metal spray booth, and within our open factory coating environment proved challenging with our 5 tonne (load rated) factory cranes. To address this, a combination of gantry cranes and fork hoists were used in the moving and handling process. Metspray achieved a superb commercial finish with only minor handling damage that was touched up onsite, delivering an outstanding result.
